WEEKLY RECAP: WEEK TWO

Welcome back all, here to Week Two. It’s January 17th, and we’ve got more excitement for you!!

This week we discussed details about the Launch Party, which will be held at O’Kelley’s Bar and Grille on February 21, 2019. The annual Launch Party is a way our class shows our excitement about the beginning of our Macker Season and of course, getting everyone in the community fired up about Macker! 

We are planning on having food and drink specials, a 50/50 raffle benefiting United Way, the Silent Auction (as well as some awesome baskets we’re making) and who knows, a Thing or Two may show up along the way! 😉 There will be more information about the Launch Party as the Special Events Team and Promo Team keep working hard to bring you the best Launch Party yet! We hope to see you there! 

After discussing our eagerness for the Launch Party, we broke out into our different committees – Thing 1’s (The Promo Team), Thing 2’s (The Court Captains) and last, but not least, Thing 3’s (The Special Events Team). The Promo Team discussed ways that we can creatively promote our Macker tournament, as well as coming up with flyer/poster designs, and ways to have our social media pages really catch people’s attention! The Special Events Team met to finalize and lock down details about the Launch Party and started discussing Open Ceremonies! 

We meant what we said, and we said what we meant – Cheers to 10 Years, it’s the best one yet!
